| | Sihanoukville has a pretty good selection of restaurants offering local and foreign cuisines, including Japanese, Mexican, Indian, Swedish and Russian. Its seafood is of course renowned and is sold by weight at prices lower than anywhere in the country. For cheap dining, there are the ubiquitous food stalls that sell a wide range of seafood and fish. | |

| Victory Hill Victory Hill, a backpacker favorite, is still a good spot for a wide range of inexpensive food, including French. However, the focus seems to have shifted to Serendipity Beach and the nearby Road to Serendipity. On the beaches, Happa serves teppanyaki while Les Feuill has an excellent French Khmer menu. For Chinese food, Seadragon serves giant shrimp and crabs as large as dinner plates.
A jungle atmosphere in Snake House is accented with dining on glass topped tables with live serpents inside. A crocodile farm on the premises ensures that the diners tread on the straight and narrow. | | | Town Center In the town center, food stalls in Psar Leu open early in the morning with a large variety of local food and various restaurants round town will serve a bowl of tasty noodles. In the evening, a night market opens up along Ekareach Street and burgers, pizzas and sandwiches are found in several places in town. | | | Shopping There are bookshops in town and on Serendipity Beach, the latter being the new area for shopping on the beaches. Khmer Artisans, a branch of the Phnom Penh store, sells high-quality silk handicrafts, fabrics and embroidery. M’lop Tapang takes kids off the streets and sells items they make so they can attend school. Rajana uses proceeds from selling fair-trade items such as jewelry and clothing to teach handicraft skills to young Cambodians. | |
